- Workout Gear
If you have workout gear that is comfortable and you love, it will probably motivate you to want to head to the gym more often and get some exercise! Stock up on a few neutral pieces that you can add to your wardrobe to mix and match, and don’t forget a pair of comfortable tennis shoes.

2. Get a good night sleep
Try to NOT get in the habit of pulling all nighters and hitting the snooze button every ten minutes. You are going to feel a lot more energized throughout the day if you are well rested! Another tip is to not to look at blue light (such as your cell phone) an hour before you go to sleep. Instead, try reading a book or listening to music.
3. Drink plenty of water
Staying hydrated throughout your day is so important. Designate a specific cup or water bottle to use solely for water, and always have it on you as a constant reminder to stay hydrated. If you are someone who doesn’t love to drink water, add in some fresh fruit or cucumbers to make it more flavorful. (Plus, there are actually many potential health benefits to drinking water with fruits or veggies in it!)
4. Find a Workout Buddy
Having someone who can help keep you accountable makes things so much easier. Whether it is someone you can walk to class with, join an intramural team, or take a yoga class – find whatever works for you. Set aside a certain day or days of the week that you can meet up and stick to it.
5. Keep Healthy Snacks Handy
If you keep healthy snacks handy, it will be less tempting to buy french fries or chips in-between classes! Have a stash of high nutrient but filling snacks that you can keep in your backpack or at home and grab when you are hungry. Some suggestions are trail mix, granola bars, avocado toast, blueberries, or dark chocolate almonds!
